Grandparents’ Day Information for EC Parents Debbie IsomListed below you will find information that we hope will answer any questions you may have about your EC son’s day on Friday, October 28th.
Boys in PK will wear a solid white, short sleeve tee shirt, jeans, socks and school shoes. PDS will provide a bandanna the day of the event.
Boys in JK should wear khaki long pants, a solid colored, collared, short sleeve polo type shirt, belt, socks and school shoes.
Boys in SK should wear khaki long pants, a solid colored, collared, short sleeve polo type shirt, belt, socks and school shoes.
Boys in PK (a.m and p.m. classes) through 6th grade should arrive at the normal time on the morning of Grandparents’ Day. The morning carpool lines and early morning rooms for boys in PK-6th grade will operate in the normal manner that morning.
Grandparents’ Day is a half-day for all students with dismissal after the program at 11:45.
All boys in PK- 6th grade should be picked up in their homerooms by their grandparents following the program; there will be no carpool dismissal for any student.
Aftercare will not be available.
The Grandparents’ Day Program is for grandparents only; due to limited seating parents should not attend.
If your son does not have a grandparent who can attend the program, he may ask a special relative or friend to attend.
Grandparents should have received an invitation in the mail; there is a portion of the invitation that must be completed and returned to PDS.
Because parents cannot attend the program, we would like to invite all parents to the dress rehearsal on Thursday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. We do ask that you remember that because it is a “dress rehearsal” it will not be exactly like the real performance.
