PARENT HELPERS

We will have two parent helpers for each classroom. Parent helpers will be asked to organize all parties.  Please complete the parent helper sheet if you would like to serve in this capacity.  We will draw two names from the forms to determine who will serve as parent helpers for the year.  The designated parent helper will work together to coordinate JK events.

 

CENTER ASSISTANTS 

If you enjoy “hands-on” projects, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!  We are asking for parent volunteers to assist us with designing a special area for our discovery center.  You may sign up to assist with setting up a theme-related center one or more times a year.  For example, for the month of September the theme is community helpers.  The center would be set up to include various types of costumes and accessories that relate to this theme.  We will provide guidelines and give suggestions of items that we would like to include in the area.  This is a great way to meet and get to know other parents in the classroom.  A sign up sheet will be provided at the parent meeting.
