Beverly Kirkscey serves as Director of Auxiliary Programs of Presbyterian Day School (PDS), an independent school serving 630 boys in grades PK-6 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Kirkscey, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri at Columbia. She did graduate work at the University of Missouri at St. Louis and the University of Memphis, adding an elementary teaching certification to her secondary one. After teaching English and literature at a suburban St. Louis high school she joined PDS in 1983 as teacher of Creative Workshop and, later, Discovery Center, both enrichment programs. In 2002, she became Director of Auxiliary Programs.
Beverly has attended ISM's summer programming workshop as well as enrichment and after-school care conferences, both locally and nationally. She has presented at the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools and American Association of School Administrators conferences. She also serves as PDS' liaison to TAIS.
Mrs. Kirkscey enjoys reading, travel, family and friends.
