Happy Summer to everyone!
It’s that time of year to talk AfterCare registration. We need to know if your son is going to be with us this year!
Here are a few more details about paying for your son’s lunch.
The EZ School App accepts Credit and Debit Cards only.
To add money to your account without ordering a meal, click on the Save/Pay button at the bottom of the menu and it will ask you if you want to add money.
The credit card company (not PDS or Piccadilly) charges a small credit card fee per transaction (i.e. each time you pay for ordered meals or add money to your account).
The fee is 2.9% of the total amount you have ordered plus any money you have added to the account + a 30 cent flat fee.
|Number of Meals Ordered for August||12|
|Number of Meals Ordered for September||18|
|Total Meals Ordered||30|
|Cost per Meal||$6.16|
|Credit Card Fee Percentage||2.9%|
|Percentage Credit Card Fee||5.3592|
|Flat Credit Card Fee||$0.3|
|Total Amount Charge to Card||$190.4592|
If you ordered lunch every day for your son and you were able to do that in 4 transactions, your total credit card fee would be only about $30 for the year.
There is a minimum credit card fee of $1.95, so to minimize the fee order as infrequently as you can and preferably over $50 at a time.
