PDS is excited to announce our new lunch partner, Piccadilly Food Service, beginning in August, for boys in 1st through 6th grade. You will be able to view the menu and preorder the meals for the days your son wants to eat!!!
Piccadilly Cafeteria has been in the Memphis area since 1964 and has been catering for more than ten years. The company currently runs more than 80 school lunch programs across the country and is committed to serving meals to students that are exciting, high quality, nutritious and flavorful.
The lunch menu items will be prepared fresh each morning and will be both healthy and kid-friendly. While some may choose for your son to eat the Piccadilly meal every day, others may wish to select various lunch days that appeal to your student. We are pleased to be able to offer this new lunch program at prices that are comparable to the prior school year.
Some exciting things about our new partnership are:
The EZ School website offers the school a safe and secure way to pay for student meals online. We strongly encourage all families to create an EZ School Lunch account, even if your son does not plan on eating the Piccadilly meals regularly. He may occasionally want an ice cream or other side item!
After signing up for your EZ School Lunch account, you will be able to:

Presbyterian Day School is excited to announce that Howard Graham has agreed to serve as the PDS Chaplain and Executive Director of Building Boys, Making Men.
Howard is no stranger to our school. He has been a parent at PDS continuously since 2006 and currently has a son in both the Early Childhood and Elementary Divisions. He has served the school as a trustee since 2013 and been Board chair for the past two years.
While he has spent the last 30 years building businesses, developing leaders and helping companies communicate their value, his main purpose and passion has been serving God. His experience with mentoring fathers, coaching boys and leading ministries places him in a perfect position to serve the PDS community. His forward-thinking, entrepreneurial spirit will help us take our Building Boys, Making Men program to even greater heights.
Wilson Orr, former Board chair, will assume the duties of acting Board chair. We are blessed to have many who are willing and able to serve our great school.
Please welcome Howard to PDS.
Congratulations to our alumni who were recently elected to the student council at Memphis University School:
All of our Destination Imagination teams had a strong showing at the state tournament:
On May 1st, we held our first-ever After-School Talent Show:
Boys learned about poetry and Civil Rights history on April 30 when children's author David Greenberg visited. Mr. Greenberg’s father, Jack Greenberg, was the leading Civil Rights attorney for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the 1960’s.
Mentoring is a crucial component of our Building Boys, Making Men character education program. To celebrate the end of a great year, Fifth-grade boys and their mentors went bowling on Tuesday, May 8.
Our boys don't just receive mentoring, they pass it on. Each year, our sixth-grade boys meet with a PK buddy throughout the year.
Now in its third year under the direction of Stephanie Hancock, our Beginning Band and Crusader Bands performed in concert on April 26 and again on April 27 at an assembly for PDS students.
Congratulations to Tyler Dang for winning this year’s Motsey Hudson Speech contest with his speech titled, “The Benefits of Traveling.”
Tyler will be presenting his speech at the 6th Grade Graduation Ceremony.
Jackson Ransom’s speech, “Beyond Skin Deep,” and Andrew Tancredi’s speech titled, “My Passion for Flying,” tied for second place. Both will present their speeches during Class Day.
