Update from the Headmaster - Monday, March 23

Transcript

Good morning PDS Community,

As we have now launched into our second week of online learning, I wanted to give all of our PDS families a word of encouragement.

It is true that these are unprecedented times and we are all learning to adapt. It is our goal to keep the learning going. Even though our campus is closed, our school continues to be open. Our mission is to glorify God and develop our boys in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and mankind and we will continue to deliver on that promise.

We know online learning has its challenges. PDS wants to help your son experience success during this time. Many have reached out and found support from our tech department and classroom teachers. More content will be coming online this week from our teachers. The coaches have some great plans to help our boys continue with their physical fitness and Mrs. Hancock is looking forward to video lessons for the band. There are many examples of teachers who are being creative to help our boys continue to grow.

Many have asked when we will be able to return to school. At this time, the date is unknown. I do promise to continue to communicate with you and share any information I have.

For now, let the words of the Apostle Paul ring true in your heart.

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

Thank you.
Steve
