Update from the Headmaster: Field Day and Talent Show

Dear Parents,

I hope you are doing well as we head into the final four weeks of school at PDS. Today, I want to share a few important details with you.

First, all of my communications over the past weeks are archived on the PDS COVID-19 page on our website. This page also has information regarding contacting teachers and technology help. Additionally, our calendar cancellations and postponements are listed on this page.

Field Day

The coaches have been working together to plan Backyard Wacky Olympics Straight Out of Left “Field” Day! They have great ideas that are sure to be a lot of fun. We will utilize Friday, May 1, for this special event. This time-honored tradition is the same date we had hoped to have Field Day before moving online. Look for more information on how you can be involved in this exciting event in the coming days.

Pray for Our Board

The PDS Board of Trustees will meet virtually on Tuesday, April 21. Please pray for this dedicated group who devotes many hours to the success of PDS. The men and women who make up our Board of Trustees are some of the finest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with, and their love of PDS is always apparent. I know they covet your prayers as we work our way through this crisis together.

Talent Show

Finally, I am sending a message to the participants in next week’s talent show. If you do not receive an email by the end of today and think you are in the show, please reach out to me right away. I don’t want to leave anyone out of this opportunity.

Thanks for your continued support and encouragement. On behalf of the PDS teachers, we truly appreciate your partnership during this unusual time.
