The Campaign for Boyhood

Leadership

PDS has transformed from humble beginnings into an innovative thought leader among independent schools for boys, not only in the United States but in the world. As we continue to learn about how to create the best environment for boys, we’ve intentionally invested in our campus so that we have the spaces for boys to thrive.

But there’s more to do that can no longer be delayed. Creating an outdoor learning hub, constructing a new dining commons, investing in research and professional development, and building our ability to remain innovative and financially strong — that’s how we will provide the best education possible today, tomorrow, and long into the future.

Today’s world is like nothing we or our children have ever had to navigate. Now more than ever our boys need you, they need us, they need PDS.

—Milton Lovell, Campaign Chair, The Campaign for Boyhood

These are your boys. These are our boys. These are our city’s boys, and these are boys worthy of investment.

You, and so many others, have chosen PDS for 75 years because it provides the most effective boy-centered teaching practices and boy-friendly environment in our city. PDS is strong. But, today, PDS lacks some of the spaces and funds needed to ensure its continued innovation and long-term sustainability.

These are needs we have discussed for years and it’s time we address them. The Campaign for Boyhood will help to ensure PDS remains a leader in all the ways boys learn, grow, and do.

Only with you is this possible. Thank you for your trust. I hope you will join us.

Take a Bold Step for Boyhood.
Invest Today.

Everything we have today we owe to those who came before us. The supporters and investors of the past had a vision for a unique Christian school in Memphis and the philanthropic spirit to make it happen. By making a generous gift, you will honor all that they have provided and the many people who have made PDS the school it is today. You will ensure we provide even more transformative opportunities for teaching and learning tomorrow.
