Patrick Nelson is the Chairman & President of Lehman-Roberts Company, a fourth-generation family-owned and family-managed firm specializing in highway construction and asphalt production. An Alabama native, Pat stayed in Memphis after graduating from Rhodes College. In 2005, he earned his M.B.A. at the University of Memphis, helping his rise through the ranks including positions supervising earth moving and mining at sister company, Memphis Stone & Gravel Company, before heading the IT Department and eventually becoming Vice President in 2005, and President in 2012.
Pat is an active member of Second Presbyterian Church, currently serving on the Pastoral Search Committee. He is an Elder and has previously served as Chair of the Staff Committee and co-chair of the Capital Campaign Committee. He is also actively engaged in the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) as well as the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA).
Pat and his wife, Catherine, are parents of four children, Bess, David, Catey and Mary Moore. Supporting his children’s athletics teams and his wife’s faith-based blog are primary passions for Pat. He is also an avid guitar player, and aviation enthusiast.
