Meet Our New Director of Auxiliary Programs

AfterCare Parents: Meet Our New Director of Auxiliary Programs

‍You may notice a new face as you pickup your sons this week. Neel Dixon is joining the team as our new Director of Auxiliary Programs. Be sure to welcome him to PDS!

About Neel

Neel Dixon is a proud native of Memphis. He brings a wealth of auxiliary programming experience from various settings across Oregon, Arizona, and Texas to his role at PDS. Neel currently lives in East Memphis with his wife, Elaine, and their beloved red lab, Scout. They are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child this fall. The Dixon family are active members of Mission Church Collierville, where Neel previously served as the Children's Director.

Before joining PDS, Neel worked at Christian Brothers University, where he served in admissions while pursuing his master's in education. Prior to transitioning to ministry, Neel served as a legal guardian to international students in Houston, TX. During his undergraduate years at the University of Memphis, Neel served as a volunteer leader and camp staffer with Young Life.

For the past decade, Neel has been deeply committed to educational leadership and nonprofit volunteer management. He holds a master's in management from Arizona State University and a bachelor's in sport and leisure management from The University of Memphis.

When he is not working, Neel finds solace in reading books while enjoying lattes at local coffee shops, playing outdoors with Scout, watching movies at the Ridgeway Four, and passionately supporting his and Elaine's favorite sports teams (Tennessee, Arkansas, Arsenal, Cubs, and Grizzlies).

"I am thrilled and honored to embark on this new chapter of service within the PDS community. The school's mission of nurturing and empowering boys aligns profoundly with my own values. I am dedicated to fostering an environment where, by the grace of God, every boy can thrive academically, spiritually, and socially, growing in wisdom and stature and finding favor with God and man."
