Each year, our graduating sixth-grade class makes an impactful gift to a specific area at Presbyterian Day School. Past gifts include updates to the Early Childhood playground, the bell near the main entrance, and a scholarship fund for the Young Scholars program.
As we approach the end of the school year, we are excited to embark on a meaningful initiative to enhance the safety and security of our beloved Presbyterian Day School. The Class of 2024 has a unique opportunity to impact future PDS boys and create a lasting impression of the school. Today, I am reaching out to you to invite you to join us in this endeavor.
Beginning this summer, PDS will improve the security of the school by installing a security gate along Poplar Avenue. Part of this plan includes the addition of a Security Entrance on Poplar with a motorized gate. Donations made to the Class of 2024 class gift will allow PDS to build the Security Entrance and provide increased safety for all future PDS boys. As each car passes through the entrance, visitors to campus and future PDS families will be reminded of the Class of 2024’s generosity, as they see the Class of 2024 plaque at the entrance of the school.
Your boys have been leaders as we have celebrated 75 years of PDS, and they will impact this school for many years to come.
We truly believe that with your support, we can make a positive impact on the safety and security of our school. Thank you in advance for your generosity. If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
