Carpool Traffic Pattern Change - Effective Monday

Dear PDS Community,

The end is now in sight for the Poplar Fence and Gatehouse project! As we near the finish line, there will be some adjustments to carpool traffic for both drop off and pick up. We appreciate your patience as we adjust for the final phases of the construction.

The next phase of the project will involve permanently closing the middle entrance along Poplar Avenue. Therefore, you will no longer be able to use the middle entrance to enter from Poplar Ave.

Starting Monday, April 14, we will return to our typical carpool traffic flow by entering through the western entrance. All traffic entering PDS through Poplar Avenue will pass by the new Gatehouse instead of using the middle entrance. Note that the temporary construction fencing will remain in place for a few more weeks and your path as you enter campus will take you through the construction fence. The exit of the parking lot will remain unchanged, so you will continue to exit onto Poplar Avenue or Central Avenue as usual.

Queuing for Pick-Up
The early arrival queuing area adjacent to Wilson Field will still be unavailable until construction is completed. Due to the limited space for early arrivals, please do not queue or block the main carpool lanes.
