PDS Express 5/6/26

Each year, PDS holds the Motsey Hudson Speech Contest, named for beloved teacher Motsey Barnes Hudson (1954–1969). This year’s winner, Caleb Ali, will present his speech “Golf: The Game of Life” at Commencement. Runner-up Aariz Nansiyani will deliver “Ethics: The Moral Compass” at Elementary Awards Day.

ArtWalk - Art by Every 1st-6th Boy on Display at PDS

The Library hallway is being converted into an art gallery featuring original art from every boy in the 1st-6th grades!

Parents are invited to pop into the school next week to celebrate the work of all our artists.

Art will be on display through Friday, May 15.

We are working to schedule parent parties for the fall of 2026. Are you willing to host your son’s grade? Please use this form to volunteer.

Summer Library Hours

Our library will be open this summer on Tuesdays (12–3pm) and Thursdays (9:00am–12:00pm) June 2-July 30 for book check out and AR testing.

The 2nd-6th grade students will be able to take AR tests at home using the login information included in their summer work folders.
