Sixth-grade Parents,
It is hard to believe this is your son’s last year at PDS! Since the sixth grade leads the school, PDS recognizes their role and momentous year with the Ringing of the Bell. After convocation, each sixth-grade boy will ring the bell outside of the PDS main entrance and signify the beginning of the school year. You are welcome to attend both Convocation and this special ceremony.
Convocation begins at 8:15a in the Sanctuary, and the rining of the bell will take place after Convocation around 8:30a - 8:35a. The bell is located outside the main entrance to the elementary school. If you have any questions about the location of these events, please reach out to a PDS staff member on the first day of school.
