Dear 6th Grade Parents,
In an effort to build greater teamwork, camaraderie, and service among our sixth grade boys, we will again be taking them off campus to Victory Ranch for what promises to be fun-filled and spirit-filled days of challenge and adventure.
Dates
The 6th Grade Breakaway will take place on Thursday and Friday, August 20–21.
Times
Please bring your son to school at the regular time and drop him off at the gym entrance. We will leave at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday and return by 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
Cost
The cost is included with tuition.
Gear
Since this is an overnight trip, boys will need to bring the following items:
- Pillow, sleeping bag, or twin sheets
- Change of clothes, including underwear, socks, shorts, and T-shirts
- Tennis shoes
- Toiletries and a towel
- Swimsuit
- Long pants, if your son wants to play paintball
- Sunscreen and bug repellent

Activities
Victory Ranch offers a variety of diverse and exciting activities that will enable us to explore the topic of leadership in fun and unexpected ways. Your boys should look forward to mastering a variety of challenging elements.
They will get to know themselves and each other through team-building activities, games, and competitions, and will explore the Scriptures through talks, skits, and quiet time.

Safety
Should an emergency arise, all Ranch and PDS employees are certified in CPR and other lifesaving skills. In addition, PDS administrators on the trip will drive their own cars in order to provide additional transportation, should the need arise.

Please sign the digital form to grant your son permission to take part in this fun-filled adventure. Release forms should be completed by Friday, August 14, so that we can plan accordingly.
