GivingUkulele with Mr. Rick
Senior Kindergarten 1st Grade 2nd Grade 3rd Grade
Join us as we explore the fundamentals of the ukulele!
In this fun and interactive class, students will learn how to hold, strum, and play basic chords on the ukulele. We’ll also discover the rich history of this cheerful instrument and how it’s used in both traditional and modern music.
By the end of the session, students will work together to perform a simple song as a group.
A ukulele is not required for signup.
About the Instructor
This class is led by Rick Forbus, a passionate guitarist with decades of teaching experience. He is also a regular performer in the Memphis music scene. Rick believes that music should be fun, approachable, and a source of confidence for every student.
