Due to COVID, we are limiting group sizes for camps. For camps with waiting lists, we are monitoring the number of registrants and adding additional capacity when possible.

Please join the wait list, and we will contact you should a spot open.

Note: Please register each child separately.

Summer Camps: The Fine Print

All grades listed are for the 2022-2023 school year. Admission is granted to qualified campers in the order in which our database receives your registration. Registration will remain open online until a week prior to the first day of camp unless a registration deadline is specifically stated. Many classes fill up, so we encourage you to enroll early.

Should a camp be full, please join the Waiting List, and we will be in touch if a spot opens up. You may register for another camp or join multiple Waiting Lists for the same weeks.

Campers must be 2 years of age by June 1st, 2022. All campers, PK and above, attending Enrichment Camps must be potty-trained.

Summer for YK

Day Camp is open to campers who will be 2 years of age by June 1, 2022. Camp PDS has five full-day, five half-day, and three full-day options. 2-year-old, or Young Knight (YK), campers are not required to be potty-trained.

We have also extended our JumpStart offerings down to Young Knights.  Boys who are enrolled in YK at PDS for the 2022-2023 school year may attend the “Yay for YK” JumpStart camp. This camp helps boys get a jump start on the next school year by introducing them to teachers and classmates, getting them excited about classroom learning, and familiarizing them with the PDS campus.

All registrations will be processed online via UltraCamp, and a confirmation email will be sent to you when you have correctly completed the registration process.

Payment in full is due one week prior to the first day of camp. A non-refundable $25 per camp deposit is due at registration. (Morning and afternoon sessions of Camp PDS are treated as separate sessions; each has its own $25 deposit.)

Extended Care does not require a deposit; payment is due one week prior to the first day of the week. Drop-Ins do not require a deposit; payment is due at the end of the week.

Registrants may elect to pay their total camp balance at the time of registration. If so, any cancellations will result in a refund less the $25 deposit.

Registrants may also elect to use the Summer Payment Plan. Once you have paid the $25 per camp deposit, the remaining balance, including Extended Care charges will be charged to your card one week prior to camp. In the event of a cancellation, your card will not be charged for the remaining camp balance.

If a camper wishes to switch camps, provided space is available, he or she may do so with no additional cost. If the cost is greater than the original registration, the difference will be due the week prior to camp. If the cost is less than the original registration, your credit card will be refunded the difference.

If registration is deemed to be insufficient one week prior to the first day of camp, PDS reserves the right to cancel that camp and refund your payment in full. Unfortunately, PDS is unable to prorate a camp fee for any day(s) your child may miss. Except in cases of illness or emergency that are disclosed to PDS prior to the start of a camp, refunds will not be given after a camp begins.

Multi-Camp Discounts are applied across all Camp registrations on a family's account. Discounts will automatically apply and re-adjust as you register each camper. Multi-Camp Discounts are available until May 30, 2022.

  • 5% off for 5 or more camps
  • 10% off for 10 or more camps
  • 15% off for 15 or more camps

Discounts do not apply to Extended Care or Drop-In Days.

Extended Care

Before Camp Care is available to registered campers from 7:30-9:00am for an additional charge of $30 per week. Campers must be registered for a camp beginning at 9:00am to attend Before Camp Care.

After Camp Care is available to registered campers from 3:00-5:30pm for an additional charge of $60 per week. Campers must be registered for a camp ending at 3:00pm or 4:00pm to attend After Camp Care. Campers picked up past 5:30pm will be charged a $25 late fee. After 5:35pm, an additional late fee of $5 per minute will apply.

Before and After Camp Care is not available for camps off of the PDS campus.

Sibling Stay is available for campers in a full-day camp (ending at 3:00pm) who have a sibling who is enrolled in an afternoon camp (ending at 4:00pm). These campers may join After Camp Care until 4:00pm for an additional charge of $20 per week.

Drop-Off and Dismissal Locations

Registrants will be emailed the week prior to camp to be notified which entrance they should use for camp.

Appropriate entrances will be signposted. For the safety and security of all participants, campers who arrive prior to 10 minutes before the start of camp, will be taken to Before Camp Care and charged the $30 fee for the week. Campers who have not been picked up by 10 minutes after their camp session ends, will be escorted to After Camp Care and charged a $25 drop-in fee.

Lunch and Drinks

Students attending a full-day camp or two half-day sessions will need to bring a sack lunch each day. Snacks and water will be provided.

For students attending both morning and afternoon enrichment offerings, there will be a supervised lunch hour between the sessions for no additional fee. Students will need to supply their own lunch.

It is expected that every camper attending PDS Summer Camp follows PDS procedures and standards of behavior. Consideration of others in thought and action is expected. PDS reserves the right to require the withdrawal of any camper who poses a discipline problem or a disruption to the learning process. No refunds will be issued for campers who are asked to withdraw.

T-shirt, shorts, socks, and athletic shoes are most appropriate. Sandals are allowed, but athletic shoes are required for gym and field activities.
