John Carroll is the Executive Director of City Leadership whose campaigns include Choose901, Teach901, Serve901, and Give901. Originally from Murfreesboro, TN, he came to Memphis via Texas in 2004 to become the V.P. of Ugly Mug Coffee.
After several years of side consulting with nonprofits while serving as a pastor at Fellowship Memphis, John launched his own to serve other nonprofits, schools, churches, and government agencies.
City Leadership exists to recruit, develop, and catalyze leaders for the City of Memphis. They proactively identify the challenges of other leaders in our city and help find the best solutions possible to more effectively and efficiently achieve their missions.
John lives in Midtown with his wife Hayley and their five children: JAC 18, Charis 16, Abigail 16, Jones 14, and Rowan 6.
