Derby Days '23 - STEAM-Infused Learning Experience

Let’s get on the road again with our biennial Derby Days!

The Elementary Division will break away from our regular schedule on November 20 and 21 to engage in two days of STEAM-infused experiential learning.

During these two days, the boys will become race car designers and race their creations down a custom track inspired by NerdyDerby.com and built by PDS alum, Parker Joyner and his team at Crosstown Arts.

As we prepare for the big event, you can help us by sending in the following items:

• empty paper towel cardboard rolls
• empty cereal boxes
• small cardboard boxes
• styrofoam
• any junk drawer gadgets that might add to the creation of a race car

We will collect these items through Friday, November 17. Parents are invited to attend the Grand Finale races held on Tuesday, November 21 at 1:30pm in the gym.
