PDS Express 1/31/24

PDS congratulates our Robotics team on a successful competition this past weekend. Sam Stenberg, Caden Wynne, Anderson Stone, William Li, Andrew Mao, Charlie Irwin, and Rishabh Bag competed against 30 other teams from the West Tennessee region. These boys had the 6th highest score of the day. They also earned the Rising All-Star Award! The Rising All-Star Award celebrates a team that the judges notice and expect great things from in the future. This award is based on a combination of core values, robot and innovation design, research presentation, and robot mission completion times.

Summer Camps 2024 - Register Now!

Registration for Summer '24 opens to current PDS parents on February 14, but here are some details so you can begin planning summer for your boys and girls. The structure of our summer offerings will be similar to last year.

Please note camp registration is opened in a staggered manner.

PDS parents will receive an email at 9:00am on February 14 with a password that will give you access to registration. Passwords are used to protect registration until it is open to the General Public on Thursday, February 15. If you believe you should be able to register, but do not have a password, please first search your email. If you do not have an email, please contact the Summer Team at summer@pdsmemphis.org.

Register for Intramural Soccer - Deadline: Friday, February 9

4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade

REGISTRATION AND FEES:

Please register your son online by Friday, February 9th. The cost to play Intramural Soccer is $225 (you will be billed by the school). This fee will help pay for the league expenses, referees, team pictures and uniforms for the boys to keep. Any boys that have not previously submitted a physical and the necessary concussion and cardiac arrest forms need to do so before the season begins. All forms can be turned into the school nurse.

LEAGUE:

After everyone has signed up, the players will be divided and put on a team with one of the PDS coaches. There will be three leagues: a fourth grade league, a fifth grade league, and a sixth grade league.

Register for Crusader Track

The PDS Athletic Dept. is, once again, excited about the upcoming Crusader Track season. The team will be led by Coach Jackson Boyd.

The first day of practice is Monday, March 4th, at MUS. Practices will be held at PDS and MUS. Practice times at PDS will be after school from 3:30 – 4:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practice times at MUS will be from 5:30 – 7:00pm on Mondays. Most of the meets will be on Thursdays at MUS in the month of April and will start at 4:00pm.
