Cathy Kyle serves as Interim Head of School of Presbyterian Day School (PDS), an private school serving boys from 2-years to 6th grade in Memphis, Tennessee.
A native of Memphis, Cathy graduated magna cum laude from Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She earned a master’s degree in educational technology from Lesley University (Cambridge, MA).
Cathy began her career at PDS in 1991 as a computer teacher. She became Director of Technology in 1997 and was named Chief Information Officer in 2009. She retired from the school in 2018 before returning to serve as Interim Head of School after the departure of Steve Hancock.
During Cathy's career at the school, PDS became a leader among independent schools in its utilization of education technology.
Cathy enjoys reading, design, and traveling and is an avid college football and basketball fan.
Cathy and her husband Michael have one son, Scott.
