Open time in the art room with multiple mediums to work with, changes day to day. If you would like to create an art masterpiece to work on for multiple visits, you can! If you would like to color and then make model magic and switch it up to origami, thats fun too! Artcess is a great way to let your creativity thrive. Each Artcess student will have the option to enter their favorite art piece from Artcess into the PDS Artwalk Artcess section!

Do you want to master your chess skills, increase your ranking, play more matches, and learn more strategy? Come to PDS Chess Club to learn and play in friendly competition against one another. Beginner Chess players welcome. We partner with Memphis Chess Club and have two experienced and highly rated certified Chess Instructors working with the boys on all types of chess strategy. Come for lots of learning and loads of fun! Meet in the Library

Join Mrs. Yarbrough & Mrs. Spiegelman for an hour of water fun! Your son can pack his water gun, swimsuit, and towel for an afternoon celebrating the start of JK. We’ll also have popsicles!

Want to spend time after school exploring and creating? Come to Minecraft Club in the Tech Room and build with your friends! In this exciting adventure, you will get to participate in building competitions with other boys, mine for precious resources, and fight off those pesky mobs together! Please note that due to the nature of this camp, campers will have one hour of screen time each meeting.

Be the star of a movie! In fact, be the writer, producer, director, and editor while you’re at it! In the Young Filmmakers Club, you will create your own movie or TV show using iMovie and Apple Clips. You will gain valuable experience working with the program and experiencing all aspects of creating a movie. You will help film Intramural Basketball Games to create a highlight video! You will also be involved in making videos we show in Chapel! Meets in D220

Get ready to shake, freeze, and taste the science in Mrs. Everett's classroom! In this delicious hands-on class, boys will step into the kitchen lab to discover how salt and ice work together to lower freezing points and turn liquid milk into a custom frozen treat. After burning off some energy shaking up their culinary creations, young scientists get to enjoy the best part of the experiment: eating their own custom-made ice cream! Are you ready for a Duplo Adventure? Using our imaginations and creative thinking- we will build our very own Duplo Town. We'll have fun making a snack and working as a team. Allergy Alert!! Dairy products will be used in the making of ice cream. YK1

Come join Mrs. Lindsey and Mr. Enterline for some 3D fun on Tuesdays. We will use Tinkercad to build and design 3D objects. We will be teaching a new skill each week leading up to a finished 3D print. You will also create a personalized keychain for your backpack.

AUG. 26, SEPT. 23, SEPT.30 Every soccer player starts somewhere! First Touch gives PK and JK students a fun introduction to ball control, passing, shooting, and teamwork through age-appropriate games and activities.
