Milton Lovell

Milton Lovell is the former Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel with nexAir, LLC, one of the largest distributors of industrial, medical and specialty gases and welding supplies and equipment in the United States.
Prior to joining nexAir, Milton practiced business and transactional law with Burch, Porter & Johnson, PLLC in Memphis and worked in business, mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory services for an international public accounting firm. Milton is Treasurer of the Board of Trustees at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and serves on the Building Committee and Capital Campaign Committee for the Brooks on the Bluff project. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Crosstown Redevelopment Cooperative Association, Inc., the entity which oversees the management and operation of Crosstown Concourse in Memphis, Tennessee. Milton previously was the Chair of the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA), where he served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for ten years. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Rhodes College and is a member of various professional and community organizations.
Milton is a member of Idlewild Presbyterian Church where he serves as an Elder and a member of the Finance Committee and was previously chairman of the Diaconate. He is married to Maggie Lovell and has a son, James, who is currently in the third grade at Presbyterian Day School.
Education: Milton is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and New York University School of Law.
