Jennifer Hardy Richardson is a native Memphian, who currently serves as the President of Industrial Sales Co. Jennifer leads with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion to role model and promote women-owned and minority-owned businesses. Jennifer began her professional career at Aldi Foods where she led districts in Tennessee and Kentucky before being promoted to Chicago as a corporate buyer. After being recruited by Target, she returned to Memphis. In 2012, she joined Chism Hardy Investments to develop container yards and to provide logistics solutions to local companies. Jennifer along with her sister and mother founded Henderson Transloading Services, which exported grain and other bulk items. In 2016, to expand women's presence in the construction industry, Jennifer assisted with the acquisition of the Industrial Sales Company. Industrial Sales supplies electrical, industrial, and janitorial supplies to warehouses, manufacturers, general contractors, hospitals, universities, and municipalities. Jennifer earned her Bachelor's from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and her MBA from MTSU. She is a New Memphis Institute Fellows alumni and serves on the boards of the Boy Scouts of America, Chickasaw Council and Memphis in May. When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, George and three kids, Reagan, Sterling, and Lennox Rae. She likes to challenge herself with Memphis Runners Track Club races, Spartans, Hyrox races, and Burn Boot Camp classes. Jennifer and her family are active members of the Life Church and she enjoys volunteering with the Life Church Memphis Dream Center.
