Quaque Sunt Vera is Latin for, "Whatsoever Things are True" and is taken from Paul's Epistle to the Philippians, Chapter Four, beginning with Verse Eight:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
O happy hours of work and play
The classmates that we join each day
Our flying colors, red and blue,
To thee we promise to be true
Oh, PDS, we pledge to thee
Our reverence and our loyalty.
Words by Joel "Jodie" Brown '55
Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer.
-Psalm 19:14
